Office Location & Hours

We are located at 8279 Highway 51 in Brighton.  Just look South of the Brighton High School.

Office Hours

Monday-Friday 6:30am- 5:00pm

 

We now have a drop off bin at Munford City Hall, Atoka City Hall, & the Covington Water Plant for your recyclables.  (Cardboard, plastics and newsprint)

Landfill Permits expire July 1.  You may purchase the new 2016-2017 Landfill permits at the Tipton County Public Works office.  You will need 2 proofs of residence and we accept credit/debit cards ($1.00 fee), & checks or cash.  The office will be closed Monday, July 4th and reopen July 5th at 6:30 am.  The office will also be open every Saturday in July from 7-3:30 to purchase your pass.  The landfill hours will not change for the 4th of July holiday.

Communities & Forums

The Tipton County Public Works Committee meets the first Monday night of the month at the Public Works office in Brighton at 6:00 pm.

The next Public Works meeting is Monday May 2, 2016 at 6pm at the Tipton County EMA Building.
